In 1953, the nail of the Living room of Paris, it is the presentation of the scooter Peugeot S 55.
Of color gray beads or blue RAF. The dashboard placed in the front apron is very complete and are connected with that of the cars: machine-position indicator speeds with to its left, pull knob of the choke and on its line, pull knob of lighting.

The engine is borrowed from the motor bike Peugeot P 55 : 125 Cm3, 2 one-cylinder times, 3 speeds with the right foot by two pedals, one being used to assemble speeds, the other to descend them. Power 4 CV to 4600 rpm.

Very little exemplary was produced since little time after appears the S 57.
